Today I had some amazing tacos at 7 Mares Restaurant with Christine and Cameron.  When we were on the way to Scoops for some ice cream, Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s Louisiana Fairytale (with Yim Yames) came on; I’m in love.

Aaliyah - R U That Sombody (Brenmar Windy City Mix)

I have a soft spot for this Aaliyah song.  Not sure why.  BUT, when I saw this remix, I immediately had to check it out… and I wasn’t disappointed.

Rusko - “Woo Boost”

Interestingly enough, the song was originally called “Woo” but a slightly amped up version with ‘boosted’ bass was made with “Woo Boost” written on the disk.  People assumed that was the name and it stuck. 

Rusko is amazing live and SO energetic!  Great dubstep tune too.

Unicorn Kid - “Dream Catcher”

This is the first time I’ve heard of this Scottish producer and I’m a fan of this 8-bit style dubstep tune.

LCD Soundsystem - “Drunk Girls”

You’ve probably heard the song by now but here’s the AMAZING music video, directed by Spike Jonze!  Demon Pandas harassing band members James Murphy, Nancy Whang, and Pat Mahoney.  Brilliant!
